Our car is electric too .... we soon got used to it and it's lovely to drive. I agree about the lane assist ... we worked out how to turn that off when we were driving back from the showroom, and it's never been on since.

My car isnāt electric ⦠but it tells me when the boot or a door is open, when itās due for a service, if the tyre pressure is too low and if something needs checking in the engine ⦠and all sorts of things ⦠ ⦠so did my last car ⦠neither of them were new ⦠not even new-ish, when I got them. My son tells me mine would even speak to me in Italian ⦠if I let it ⦠but Iām not going to ⦠šĀ

Morning everyone. Iām planning on reading back several pages since Iāve been too occupied with wood getting and watching cyclists in France. Ā Love seeing the female cyclists as well as the lovely scenery of course. Ā Freezing here again this morning, but wonāt Ā know the temp until Hubby emerges and reads his gadget. Ā
I went out to the garden at 3.40pm to see what needed watering in the poly tunnel and discovered the bucket of water which was waiting outside, had a large block of ice in it. š³. Havenāt seen the sun all day. Ā Weāve been very cold all day. I expect you will all have a turn of this weather in 6 months.
DD, your various dinner ideas sound lovely. Ā Iām not surprised that they are popular.Ā
BusyL, amazing load of firewood.. what type of wood is it? Ā Conifer or hardwood?
Sorry I missed Lizzie's birthday. Glad you had a good time.
We had a laugh about shopping list problems. Ā We only had two items on ours, so didnāt bother to take it into town and guess what! Ā When we got there could only remember one item. 𤬠we sat having our usual half Turkish roll with BLT and cup of coffee. Ā We both sat there scratching our heads until at last my old brain clicked in. We promptly went into the Shop and bought it while it was still in our minds. šš

Mmm, mine told me that sort of thing (not tyre pressure but other stuff like that) but on the dashboard, not on my phone
Damp drizzly day here, need to make bread, do my paperwork - end of the month - pick some runner beans for dinner. All the damp Sunday type things - might even do some mending later

Good morning everyone,Ā a tiny bit of dampness here first thing but it's all evaporated again.Ā Very dull and breezy here.Ā Ā Quite a good day in the garden yesterdayĀ Ā cut the front grass for the first time in about 6 weeks,Ā though tbh it was more to pick up dead leaves than to actually cut any grass.Ā Made a start onĀ summer pruning of some Acers, which contrary to opinion often expressed in magazines and on TV,Ā you can do , and they do not bleed sap.
