I've known quite a few builders to wear tights underneath their jeans in the very coldest part of winter ... it can be bdooly freezing  on the scaffolding when you're re-roofing a church!

I don't seem like anything that's worth getting your knickers in a twist about :)

Twisted knickers, that’s something I do get in a rage about.

At least we know that he didn't suffer from that form of 'body dysmorphia' common to some chaps with enhanced opinions of themselves ......... if he did he wouldn't dare wield a scythe ...  ;)

We never asked any more about it @Fire, despite having so many questions! Staff wouldn’t abide by a rule these days without questioning it in great detail, in my experience 🙄

:)  What an enlightening read this has been

All I'd say is that I don't mind what people wear, or don't, as a rule. If you're comfortable flopping about, it's your choice. I'm often oblivious, tbh. It only offends when it becomes overtly and deliberately sexual which, as has been said, is not usually the case.

IMHO some of us Brits equate nudity with sex. Hence much tittering at the notion of a " nudist camp" scenario.
