'Lion's Fairy Tale' [aka 'Champagne Moment' in the UK] doesn't normally grow above 3' 6'' here.. if your rose is taller than this, then it's a doubt.
I have 'Champagne Moment'.. when I first looked at your picture I thought it might be that until I understood the height of your rose, so I didn't mention it..
..this is it fully grown in another garden.. bear in mind there is more than 1 plant here, it's planted in a group of several bushes.. at least 3 in this shot.. does it look like yours? ..this is my rose 'Champagne Moment'..
..there are some thorns but nothing like the extent shown in one of your photos..
.. it might be the same, only you can tell that really.. but if your rose is over 5 feet then it's questionable..
I will also add, and you're going to think I'm ticking you off, but it's always best to show as many photos as possible for i.d. purposes with as much information as you can possibly give. I know the other forum you posted on, I'm on there too sometimes, and I know all those people. You showed them a lot more photos than you showed us. Still I knew it wasn't Buff Beauty, as Paul and others told you.
The height is confusing, but if it's been left to its own devices I suppose it's possible. My rose is potted so never going to get to that height. I'm yet to see those thorns though.. anyhow, best wishes once again..
@WhereAreMySecateurs .. yes that's the one, the outer petals turn an ugly brown after heavy rain.. although a lot of them do it must be said.. otherwise it's quite a good landscape rose. I don't think I'll be keeping mine..
.. but thanks so much,.. that's so kind.. but no more i'd's from me I think, it's a hiding to nothing and unless adequate photos are supplied, or I know it off the top of my head, it takes a lot of time and research and I just haven't got that kind of time right now.. All I got here was one wonky picture.

Yes it does look like your pictures. It is very tall but it is very established as shown by the thorns I put on here. Thanks

I mean I included what I thought and always happy to post more pictures. I did cut 4 flowers off and count every petal as well as measuring the height. I think you saw the thorns from my picture that’s why you thought it was penny lane as you said the thorns match perfectly? Next time I will include more photos. Thanks for your efforts in helping me ID it. I have attached the latest pictures as over the last few days the blooms have increased in number and maturity. Lyon’s fairlytale/champagne moment is the closest I have seen to my rose. Thanks

Anyone who's been here a bit knows you know your onions. At the risk of sounding fangirlish, it's more than a bit awe-inspiring.
