Do You Ever Have One Of Those Days When...

UffUff Posts: 3,199
I got up with good intentions of starting to make a structured path through the granite chip driveway to some steps that go up to the shrubbery and the arbour but I really can't get myself moving. I've planned it in my head and I've been given some path edgings (brought back from Derbyshire would you believe) but it's this flipping wind that's blowing a hoolie that's putting me off.

You mean you're only having one of those days @Uff:D

I think this May has been particularly windy -far more than normal. Do you think that Uff?

I've been building a set of wooden steps over an awkward structure for two years - last year a friend was supposed to do it as I was out of action, but he didn't, so I cut some more wood in March, with every intention of getting it finished - it's still stacked in the shed.. 🙄

I've always found a nice beer sorts out those sort of days.
As it's too windy outside, a cold Elvis Juice is helping me plan future ventures. :D

  • So glad it's not just me. I take time off work to get stuff done and then spend an awful lot of time on the couch. I like to think of it as re-charging. 🤔

My day today is most definitely one of those @Uff.  Not too cold for gardening but definitely too windy - I hate the wind and couldn't get myself going enough to get out there and do stuff and ignore it.  Did manage to water some pots and the pricked-out toms though.
