    Morning Ruby, Chive and SGL.
2 days to go Chive - woo hoo!
Ruby, pleased to hear your OH had a better night last night. Having a good sleep is very therapeutic.
Sorry to hear of your power cut SGL, I wonder if that big storm knocked some things 'out'. I have to say that the rain has only worsened since I first signed on this morning

Good morning Hazel - you snuckered in. I've had a couple of days when I've got cramp in my legs and you are right - its very painful. It is lovely to see these little people gradually growing and developing their own personalties and hearing the funny things that they say. Have a good shop!

    Morning all.

As soon as the washing machine has finished we are off to Sainsbugs, not our usual but feel like a change.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Hi everyone 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️
What a mixture of weather we've had today. Grey skies, drizzling with rain, sunny spells. Windy weather 🤦‍♀️ It's got quite chilly now and very overcast again. Looks more like October than  the beginning of summer.
I had achey fidgety legs last night, kept me awake for ages.
Lovely surprise to see 23 @Songbird-1 even if it was rather early 😉
Sounds like you had a busy morning.
Glad your mum is able to stay in her own home and between you all can share visits. You must be relieved things are sorted.
@Rubee glad the weather was nice enough for you to play in the garden today. Hope OH is feeling more comfortable today.
@Ladybird4 good to hear Jack is feeling better. Bet he enjoyed your visit and chat.

I've done some unmentionables today as it was too chilly and windy to play in the garden. 🤫

  • Lily I’m glad your power is back on now.  Hazel it’s good to know 23 has made a friend, Charlie, and starting big school.  Hope the cramp has passed.   Lily a very windy, hold onto your hat, day.  I felt quite weathered when I arrived home.  I hope your legs settle.  Rubee glad you’ve enjoyed time in the garden.  Chive some teatime sunshine after a drizzle when I was out.  LB I’ve inadvertently eaten a whole pack of mini cheddars 😳.  Busy I’ve yet to do my washing.

Good evening everyone. I have been confined to barracks most of today because of the rain. I'm just pleased that my water butts will be getting filled again and the plants I have released into their garden plots will be well watered too. Despite that rain I have watered the troughs alongside my house walls as they are somewhat in the rain shadow and always need me to water them. I've noticed the dreaded mare's tail springing up all over my drive. Will have to get out and tackle that soon.
Ooops RosieBB. Its so easily done isn't it, and they are delicious.
Hazel, it must have been a bit of a surprise this morning when your unexpected visitors arrived - but a nice one.
Busy, I hope you found some interesting things in Sainsbugs. Sometimes a change of venue can introduce something special to your trolley.
Ruby, I hope that you are all dusted off now with the decks all cleared outside.
