Just home after a long time sat in @steephill ‘s traffic.  Who knew that closing one Road could have such ramifications- it’s chaos out there.

Arrived home to find plug plants on the doorstep so off to plant them up before I get clean.

Still no rain or forecast rain here - so donations gratefully received thanks 🙏🏻

    Done my duty and voted.
If you don't vote, you can't complain.

Would love to vote @punkdoc but no local elections round our way.

Thought you might enjoy this - snapped on my way home after a meeting this morning, going the back way:

Well done @Hostafan1 - any idea how much they weigh?
@didyw the green alkanet is also a thug so why isn't it in jail too?  :D

My hands are itchy, should have worn gloves for pulling out the goose grass up the side of the drive.

Evening all, lovely and calm at the moment and still no rain. Very jealous of daughter who had two days of the wet stuff over the weekend. She did have a very nice day out on the Saturday at Toby Buckland's Festival however.

We spent the afternoon cutting down a rather overgrown winter flowering honeysuckle so I could rip off the ivy which was creeping up the house wall. It was hard work however so may have to get somebody in to do it in the future. I need to weedkill the ivy roots next but that will have to wait till next week.

We've had a very reasonable quote for the new electric shower but now need to contact a plumber to discuss the finer details of whether it will be possible to have two showers going at the same time. I think not, with a combi boiler but will wait to see.

I took 2 of us to lift them.
They might have to stay in the ground next winter.

I think that is what Monty said about his last autumn. He said he would wrap them up really well.

Hubby’s gadget measured minus 2.9c this morning. No wonder I turned the bedroom aircon on when I got up for a morning … er .. walk. 🙄 As a consequence, I slept in a bit. Snuggled down.
