Hurrah!  The waterbutts are both full to the brims ... any excess available is yours as promised @chicky and @Allotment Boy ... but you'll have to help yourselves as we're away for a couple of days.   ;)  It's almost 16C out there!!!
Oh, so unfair, we aren't far from you and our water butts hardly filled up at all! We had a burst of heavy rain but only for about 2 minutes. Sunny now.

We are off to Waitrose, OH feels like a change from nearer Morrisons.

I’m in the carpark right now @Busy-Lizzie … I could pick up some stuff for you and send it by carrier pigeon … 😉

Hello all, just catching up with you all, we had to go to the tip this morning, garden beginning to look like stepto's yard, then went to the small nursery down the road from us, nothing particularly exciting, bought aubergine and pepper plants as I can never get them to germinate, also a large citrus thyme which I will divide and give half to my neighbour as she wants one.
Enjoy your time away with MIL @Dovefromabove I hope she is fully recovered now.
The offer of rain is still here for those in need, we have quite enough now thank you very much!

Have just lost power for an hour and we lost our water supply last night with a burst water main. As we are at the top of the hill it seems that all the airlocks end up in our pipes, lots of sludge and air popping and banging as they re-fill. Our little village is currently ringed with various roadworks as it seems all the utility companies are digging up our roads at the same time. I mentioned the new fibre broadband company the other day and the very next day the Openreach contractor was up every pole and down every duct installing new fibre. No idea when it will get commissioned but at least it looks like we will have a choice of supplier and a much faster service.

We bought some lovely meals in Waitrose, lemon sole with herb butter for tonight, and we stopped at a pub on the way home for a beer. I don't think the carrier pigeon could have managed it, thanks @Dovefromabove!
