Morning everyone. Lovely sunny morning here. I might take my knitting out there for a while. Pixel is already rolling over in the sun. 😁

Well, it was lovely in the morning sunshine on the veranda, but there was a sneaky little breeze which kept wandering around the corner of the house, so Im in again.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Not really warm enough to sit out here either @Pat E, only 8C, but it’s a beautiful sunny morning, although the weather app says it’s cloudy here.
We had enough rain to really freshen the garden up yesterday, and we did get the lettuces planted out after all. I think we’ve had a bit more rain overnight too … I’ll give the sides of the water butts a knock when I get up and hopefully they’ll have a fair bit of water in again.
We’re off to S. Lincs again this morning to have a second stab at celebrating MIL’s birthday … on the way we’ll park up near The River Nene and have a picnic lunch while we watch the swans.

Morning everyone,  home again tried to post last night but it disappeared.
We had some rain on the way home from St Pancras,  but it didn't last, I will have to check the waterbuts too but I doubt they are full.  Lovely morning here, grass cutting general tidying up, plus a trip to plots too see the state of play.
    Have a good day all.

Morning all. Lovely and sunny here this morning, I think we have rain forecast for tomorrow pm and then a fine sunny and warm weekend.
Daughter and young grandson off to the dentist this morning while I puppy/dog sit and then we will all pop down to the village this afternoon to cast our vote in the local election. Hope you all have a good day.

Hurrah!  The waterbutts are both full to the brims ... any excess available is yours as promised @chicky and @Allotment Boy ... but you'll have to help yourselves as we're away for a couple of days.   ;)  It's almost 16C out there!!!

Just checked we have 2 in line, not enough to refill the first let alone spill over to no 2. Not helped by the fact it was dry for so long , the diverteer was partly clogged up 😖

When I read your schadenfreude post @Dovefromabove I first read Scheherazade, by that well known composer, Rip Yercorsetsoff.

By the time it got to us the rain had fizzled out somewhat.  More of a dampening than a fill-the-waterbutts downpour.

But what am I doing on here?  I've got to be somewhere in an hour and I'm not dressed yet!
