There's no problem with moving perennials about if you decide they're in the wrong place, @Wildlifelover - in fact many are improved by regular splitting and replanting. It's fine to change your mind!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
'I's.. 'J's.. and 'K's anybody? I've only got one Iris and I grow it for its foliage although it does have nice blue flowers apparently. I'm hoping to see those this spring. The leaves stay fine all summer right into October before they start to decline.
Kniphofia Uvaria, wedged into a crack of soil in the middle of a stone terrace and rarely watered, but it doesn’t seem to mind:
Kniphofia Wrexham Yellow. I loved the pure lemon but got rid as the enormous spread of the strapping leaves far exceeded the value of the flowers in a small border:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Two irises, 1st is winter flowering Iris unguicularis ,(Algerian Iris) and 2nd pic is an unknown tall bearded purple Iris. If I'm lucky it sometimes coincides with the wisteria!

IRIS palllida 'variegata'..
The flowers look almost black in a certain light but like purple stained glass when the sun shines on them.
Kniphofia 'Banana Popsicle'
I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful
Lovely purple Iris, just my colour.
I have this grass along a border now, as I like it so much. Takes a while to build up a decent clump.

Kirengeshoma palmata.
Lovely large leaved perennial, does very well in the shade, needs moisture.
