'N's and 'O's today.. I've got lots of 'P's coming up tomorrow..
Plants that flower so late don't do a lot for me, but I prefer the white Nerine to the rather shocking pink. I don't know why I keep them to be honest..
I'm including this because it's overwintered as a tender perennial and I love the scent.. it's already got buds on it. Nemesia 'Wisley Vanilla'..
I didn't keep this Oenothera because it seeds all over the place and got on my nerves, but I did enjoy the evening colour. OENOTHERA 'Sunset Boulevard' [?]
Thanks Marlorena. I like the colouring on the oenothera 'Sunset Boulevard', but already have a running battle with evening primrose seedlings.......tempting though.
•I Imperata cylindrica ‘Red Baron’ I like that this is slow growing. I have it dotted around the garden and it’s never in conflict with other plants. I had to remove other grasses that were more vigorous.
Earlier in the season with gerbera and echinacea.
Later in the season with berberis and frangula alnus.

•L I prefer the red lamprocapmos, it has lovely red new shoots and stems.

It's onoclea sensibilis, the sensitive fern, emerging at the same time as the foliage of epimedium 'Frohnleiten', with the same beautiful colouring.
