Now I have a new album in my photos app so I can store the beautiful photos of the new perennial plants I want to buy. This thread has been marvellous but not sure my bank manager would agree.
Thank you so much @Marlorena I have had so much success with roses following your excellent advice and now I have a whole list of plants to make my garden more beautiful.
Thanks too to all those who shared their photos to inspire me.

For me, it's awakened something,, forward planning, changing.
I've gardened here for thirty years now but the last decade has been spent trying to keep it going due to personal circumstances. I have made some changes to make things easier, and Storm Arwen wrought changes that made it harder! but I have done very little in the way of introducing new plants or retiring old ones. This thread has opened my eyes to what I can perhaps do now. I'm going to go through it all again making notes. Great idea @debs64, thanks for that.

.. @debs64 thank you, I know I've learnt a lot here too, with perennials I've not grown before..

.. here are my latest purchases..

.. my new Iris bed... a mix of 2.. 'Benton Storrington' and 'Frost and Flame'.. you're supposed to leave the knobbly bit exposed but I don't think I've done that.. too bad..

..and my new collection of Daylilies, just potted up... they arrive as bare roots.  They are all 'Spider' form Hemerocallis as I don't like any of the other types too much.. I think I should get some flowers this summer..

    Names..
    3 x 'Laurena'
    1 x 'Radiation Biohazard'
    1 x 'Mood Elevator'
    1 x 'Claudine'
    1 x 'Mont Royal Demitasse'
1 x 'Spinne In Lachs'.. ['Spider In Salmon']

Hello @Tichimera, and welcome to the forum.
I hope the seeds do well for you, and perhaps you'll post a photo when they're in flower?
Thank you for the lovely welcome!

@Marlorena any other thread you started which you think is worth archiving? Rose threads are 200+ pages, so can be done only as a combined effort or with automation.

    @Eustace
Only this one, I haven't got around to it yet, I thought I might try before Wednesday.
