@Marlorena, may I ask how tall those two Berberis grow please. I think I need something spiky and tough as an edging plant by the lawn edge to keep the pigeons away from underneath the birdfeeder. Do you think these would be a deterrent?

The pigeons just trample on anything I've tried so far!

..I think those would excel in my dry garden, it's a pity I haven't got round to them yet, but I do like the Ambrosia in particular..

..yes they are really prickly, but less than a foot tall I would say, or a foot at most.  I doubt pigeons would want to mess with them, being such bulky, clumsy birds.. trouble is they're not cheap, I wish I had more of them..

So long as you can provide reasonable drainage I find agastache one of the easiest and least demanding plants to grow. I don’t usually like variegated foliage but I would make an exception for Crazy Fortune @pitter-patter

Purple Rain is fabulous isn’t it @Perki? It’s become my favourite and it reliably returns, unlike Atropurpureum which seem to dwindle and disappear.

I would dearly love to grow Ravenswing. It's been on my wish list for years.
