    @WhereAreMySecateurs. I grew Falstaff in my last garden in a large pot.  Although not a continuous bloomer, it did have two distinct flushes and occasionally a single bloom or two in between.

    Thank you so much, @Jemula. Saw it "in the flesh" and it has been haunting me ever since. Since it reblooms, I'll have to try to get it.

    @WhereAreMySecateurs.  A beautiful rose but I found it does like to be pampered to give its best.

    It rained here too yesterday night and today morning. Everything needed a nice soak after my time away and hosepipe ban has come in force. Very happy with the rain. Waterbutts have filled up too. 

    @WhereAreMySecateurs, yes I had posted a photo of snail in rose. They do look cute all snuggled up.  Lots of them going around in lawn and patio today.
