I usually do only the spring feed. However, this year I am waiting for rain before I do the 2nd feed for the potted roses. Otherwise, you have to water copiously before/after feeding. I am referring to feed such as 'toprose' not liquid feed. I guess liquid feeds can be given any time.

@Lizzie27 and @Athelas I think you would be fine adding granular, slow release rose food now. If it’s forecast really hot weather in your area for the next couple of weeks I would lay off fast-acting liquid feed, you don’t want to encourage soft new growth that will wilt and crisp in a heatwave. But when I say hot I mean sustained temps of 30c or more, the odd hot day or two shouldn’t be a problem. My roses suffer from a lot more heat stress than yours so I usually give them a total break from food in July/August.

Jacques Cartier has been flowering for a month now and has more buds forming.

I think it is going to take at least a couple of years for these blush noisettes to cover the arch.

That's a lovely looking arch. Is it DIY ?

@andrewnewton no, part of a kit, but I painted it that colour.

Horrible Tik Tok format - but a Ghislane on great form. Slathered in blooms.
