Has anyone here grown Blanche Moreau? It looks lovely but I suspect it gets bigger than advertised so it would be helpful to hear other experiences of it.

Thanks Nolie, I can’t believe MIP became so crispy only 8 hours later. I’d like to have that rose because of her (they say) wonderful fragrance.

We are having a second wave of heat here too, unfortunately, almost all my roses are sleeping and it’s quite impossible for me to go in yhe garden and do some very needed work on it, too much hot and too many mosquitos, they eat me alive.

so you all keep posting pics of your wonderful roses and gardens, at least I am enjoying looking at them and feel a little bit less sad

Been a bit quiet here, back from Denmark (minus luggage which is stuck in frankfurt!) to finally be felled by Covid... its absolutley horrible (thank goodness for vaccines though or would be a lot worse), so not much gardening or anything else getting done.

Garden has been looked after well by a friend and hubby is on watering duty now whilst im ill. A chunk of the roses are having a rest now, so ive ordered a big tub of my favourite empathy rose fertiliser to feed them when im up to it, ready for the next flush. Ive got manure left too. The heats causing some crisping....

@Omori ooh I have fetzer Syrah, its not doing much yet though.

@JessicaS, hope you feel better soon.

It's so hot today. We thought of going to the beach but dropped the idea
