Stephanie d'ursel.. a good find.. large blooms in clusters and fragrant..Ā
Thanks a million.. colour mix.. yet to detect any fragrance.. mild spicy scent so far..
Enchantress.. new comer (b'day special ) fragrant..
Chandos Beauty...
Celine Forestier.. Vigourous grower.. lots of new basals.. needs a good space.. starting to detect some fragrance.. like the different blooms on the plant, bud to open bloom..
And now Evelyn bareroots are back in stock at Trevor White. Now that's one that always looks gorgeous in pics, am tempted. Would anyone recommend Evelyn?
Cooldoc, Lavender Lassie smells rosy, like rose talcum powder. I love it, it's nostalgic for me as it was by my bedroom window growing up. But probably nothing special to anyone else.
My mum has identified my mystery rose as Queen Elizabeth. So much for avoiding royal names, lol.
Pitter patter, your bird tables and trellis and standard are everything.
..nice to see someone else with 'Enchantress'.. it does have a lovely scent I think.Ā I've just planted mine in the garden from a pot.
.. I should warn about 'Jubilee Papa Meilland'.. if you're looking for a very thorny, coarse HT with produces 3 foot long stems with a single huge red bud on top, that refuses to open in wet weather, then this is for you.
..otherwise, for scented reds, stick with 'Fragrant Cloud' and 'Alec's Red'..
@WhereAreMySecateurs, I love my Evelyn. It is not a healthy rose, but lovely fragrant flowers. I have second one on order from Trevor white for this autumn.Ā
I keep my not so healthy roses in pots and not in border.Ā
Ā It has also been super busy from my side. Our fiscal year end is approaching and the usual madness at work then .
most of my roses are over the first flush . Except pink cloud that is still going steady . Trying the swirling tying method.Ā
My second guirlande is⦠dying I think . Cane after cane ⦠Except the outer left side that has thrown out two new canes .although also there a mail has the first signals of giving up. I have lost already 3/4 of the plant and still need to prune out more. The other plant is doing excellent and is over the 2 meters already.
Speaking of scent, Dee-Lish/Tchekov, wow. One bud is partly opened and it's like standing under and drinking in a huge tamarillo tree in the South Pacific. And the colour, gorgeous.
Jessica, I mean an old retired DA Evelyn, but that is also very lovely.

Curious after the evolution of your zweibrucken . It is darker then I expected .
Enchantress is still a small specimen Marlorena, but promising with lots of buds..
@WhereAreMySecateurs thank you.. For me Rose talcum scent was from Comte de Chambord and Harlow Carr..
