    @fire, hope you feel better soon. 

    I have been crazy busy at work and havent deadheaded a single thing. To be honest I check at high level, what is a really must do to save the plants, and then do that. I have made sure I have watered pots. There is a whole lot of weeding required out there.

    Will I cause my roses any bother if I put grit on the pots? It’s not ones that are staying in pots forever, put the fertiliser on top is a buffet to my dog and I want to move them from their exhile!

    One the subject of caterpillars…having found those sawfly eggs I did a closer inspection of my other roses and found these two… does anyone know what they are?
