auch that Deelish is certainly not fit for the heath.. And clear I also do not like coral 😬 I like queen of Sweden . I think that pale pink is really lovely .
@Oliya indeed sawfly , my MH has also the same scars. Have removed several caterpillars munching on the leaves yesterday.Â
My youngest was looking meanwhile for other leaves to give it to the caterpillars so they would leave the rose alone .( he is 4 years old🥰)Â
I have seen too much  the animation movie Cars , I’m calling GdF my fluffy white cloud … GdF and at the arch mini MH at the left.Â
I have been crazy busy at work and havent deadheaded a single thing. To be honest I check at high level, what is a really must do to save the plants, and then do that. I have made sure I have watered pots. There is a whole lot of weeding required out there.
Will I cause my roses any bother if I put grit on the pots? It’s not ones that are staying in pots forever, put the fertiliser on top is a buffet to my dog and I want to move them from their exhile!
New here but just noticed this thread! i very new to gardening but i believe this is a type of rose. Excuse the rest of the bed, that has now been tidied up but the roses have been dead headed so couldnt get a new picture
'Octavia Hill' Huge blooms on PAOK 'Alba Maxima' 'Astronomia' 'Our Beth' 'Saphir', I love the colour 'Purple Skyliner' 'Blackberry Nip' 'Gabriel Oak' 'Olivia Rose Austin' 'Belle de Crecy'
@Imprevu Your little one is very sweet:) One the subject of caterpillars…having found those sawfly eggs I did a closer inspection of my other roses and found these two… does anyone know what they are?
I was wondering what everyone thought of these two roses. They were ordered from Rumwoods nurseries as Twice in a Blue Moon and have both now opened, they don't look the same. More telling is the fragrance is completely different. One is an old rose fragrance, the other is a strange smell I've never smelt on a rose before. One looks to have many more petals than the other, but I wondered if it was just because they are in their first year.🤔 What do you think?
