Night night @Pat E Â Good morning to everyone. Â Don't worry Pat, Pixel will forget that incident when he sees breakfast!
Cold this morning (2°C) turned into a lovely sunny spring day.  Weeded the vegetable garden this morning - nettles etc. and easy to pull out.  I raked the "tyne" tool over half of it - a 3-prong" very useful tool.  Will finish tomorrow.  I have about 10 self-seeded red oak leaf and one lollo rosso and lots of rocket.  My bunny hasn't got to them yet!
@Hostafan1 Lovely wee chap - it only seems it was last month that we saw a photo of him newly born!! @AnnaB Â Â Love the stone house!
Rest this afternoon, but some old apples to stew - will make apple tart. Â Then Barre au Sol at 6pm.
Congratulations @Hostafan1!  Fingers crossed your OH's cough turns out to be nothing to worry about @Lizzie27. Easy does it @AnnaB. Agreed, the sunshine is bringing everything on. Just had a look at my cuttings - something's flowering. Not sure what it is but suspect it might be an osteospermum. Time to do some potting on...
Afternoon all, thanks for the good wishes for my OH - unfortunately he tested positive this morning but is okay, slightly under the weather but not ill so far. I've tested negative. It's warm enough to have all the windows/doors open so I don't see the point of him isolating in his bedroom but we're trying to socially distance. I expect to catch it anyway.
We've cancelled our short break but the hotel is holding our reservation for us as we've already paid. Will re-arrange after Easter hopefully.Â
I've been out in the garden all morning as it's warm and sunny, more weeding, moving plants and pruning. Bedlinen's on the line, isn't lovely to get it dry outdoors in the sunshine?
Hi folks, Sorry to hear about your OH @Lizzie27 hope he's not too bad. Hope Pixel has forgiven you @Pat E Busy day today. Went to art class this morning and then decided to sow seeds. Managed to sow quite a lot veg and flower so feeling that I'm definitely back on track now. Hope this weather lasts so that I can weed the front borders tomorrow.
Aching a bit today after hours de-weeding, jet washing and sweeping patio yesterday. Still the side bit left to do but my hands and back couldn’t take any more.Â
Another dry and sunny day here. Cold overnight, with the clear skies, but almost don’t need the leccy blanket this week!Â
I hope your OH just has it mildly @Lizzie27. Good that the hotel will keep your reservation. The daylight will be longer by then and it should be warmer, except that it's pretty warm at the moment!
I've just collected my new laptop. It's bigger than my old one but it weighs less. Back to an Azerty keyboard, I got used to the Querty one in Norfolk. I wish the full stop wasn't upper case. The semi-colon is on the same key and is lower case - daft.
I weeded the raspberries, then bought a can of diesel for the tractor and mowed the grass around the vegetable garden, quite a big area. Then the computer man rang so I haven't weeded the terrace bed.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Sorry to hear about OH and your cancelled plans. Seems like Covid is lurking around to spoil our plans. Hope he recovers quickly. We are still going to be able to visit son in Bath, thankfully.
It's the luck of the draw I reckon, OH isn't too bad at the moment, thanks, fingers crossed. Do hope he's not as bad as Chicky was. It looks like he caught it from a friend he met at Bisley last Sunday who apparently test positive when he got back home. I feel fine. Prof Whitty was saying that we can expect outbreaks over the next two-three years and more mutations which is what we'd expected anyway.
Glad you've got a new laptop @Busy-Lizzie. My replacement was both bigger and heavier but I've got used to it now.
I can't pressure wash our paving any more @AuntyRach so might get somebody in to do it for me - it looks awfully green and although the Patio Magic/Algon does clean it, it's not as good as a pressure wash. Must get somebody in to clean our solar panels as well, they're absolutely encrusted after six years.

I’ve been sent to bed before I need carrying up the stairs … night night all … sleep tight 😴Â
