  • Morning everyone!
A very thick frost this morning, but now the sun is peeking through.
Should have some silver polish somewhere @Dovefromabove  Do have a cloth, but that's a jewellery one 🙄
@Ladybird4 had hoped phone would right itself......have deleted lots of stuff and have gone into Apps. But it still keeps flashing up     'Google play services keeps stopping'    Can't send or receive emails on my phone either 🤷‍♀️ Looks like I'll have to get a new one😓
Good to hear Graham has woken up @debs64
I'll join you in a cup of tea @bluebellsintherain ☕☕☕
  • Debs good to hear Graham is out of hibernation and can top up his reserves.  Have a good day at work.  I do like rhubarb although quite a while since I’ve had it.  Lily enjoy your tea.  LB it’s good that you can help your friend getting a new phone.  It’s bright sunshine now.  I’ve just heard the bin men arrive so I’ll pop out and rescue mine.
  • Good Morning All,
Bluebells Hope you got your bins in ok,
Dove Sorry I don’t have any silver polish to send over, the sun does highlight all the things that need polishing 🤨
LB Nice of you to help out your friend with her phone, it’s a rather daunting prospect for some,
Rubee Enjoy some time in your garden, hope you find everything is growing well,
Debs Lovely to hear Graham is up and about, hope work goes well for you today,
SGL Sounds like a chilly start to the day hope the tea has warmed you up, will you be able to see the poppets this weekend?
Might try and tackle the arch today with OH, need some tea first to assess the situation ☕️
    Have a lovely day everyone.
  • Chive enjoy your tea before you deal with the arch with oh.  Good luck.  Sunny but cold here and I’m warming up under the cape.  Ante hope you’re okay.

    Good morning all.
It's sunny. I'm planning to tidy up the long border.

We've been to the monthly farmers' market in the village hall. Bought pork pie, sausage roll, brownies, cheese straws and a loaf of bread. We had coffee and bacon rolls there for breakfast.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Hi all.
Thank you @star gaze lily for your comments upthread re Pilates. I'm now more determined than ever to give it a go.
Good news re Bruno- it must have been a worrying time- may he be back to his normal self soon.
I've nothing planned much today. I have put out some washing and tidied up a bit and that's all!
All the flowers round and about are loving the sunshine, as am I.

As you can see - it's a sunny day here and Oliver is making himself comfy in the study

Debs - good to hear Graham is fit and well. Spring must be on the way!.

@star gaze lily - Have a Google with "Google play services keeps stopping message"

Suggests the problem may be due to an incomplete update and rebooting your phone or, (last resort) a complete factory reset may solve the issue. Always ensure you back up any precious photos and other important stuff before you do a reset though - it will zap your phone contents - but at leastyou might not need a new phone.

Lots of instructions on Google about how to do all that.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Hi everyone,  So glad Graham is up and about again @debs64 he'll soon be munching on strawberries.
Loved the cat video @Ladybird4 must remember to show it my bestie, she has a cat that is half tiger so she'll will relate to it.
The man came to do the garden and worked a solid 8 hours.  I've been out there today and removed all the leaves from the roses and cut back some of the things he didn't manage to get to.  Hubby has mowed the lawns and I'm feeling much better about things.
Secondborn has managed to plough through 300 pages of bank statements supplied by her soon to be ex (with the help of Firstborn).  He has 19 bank accounts all in his name but the money in them is half Secondborn's  Lord knows if it will ever get sorted out.
I've been trying to get out and about a bit more so we went for a walk around the local park yesterday, lots of wildlife on the lake.  Had to have quite a few rests as Hubby still struggles but we made it and felt better for it.
Hope everyone who is under the weather feels better soon.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • Afternoon All, it’s been a good day the replacement arch is in place and I look like I’ve been through a hedge backwards 🙃 the Jasmine is still in situ but I may cut it back after it’s flowered to train it over more tidily,
Bluebells Glad you are keeping warm, there is a definite nip in the air today it looks deceiving,
Busy Nice purchases from the farmers market those bacon rolls for breakfast sound lovely, hope you’re getting on well with the long border,
Janet It is nice to get those wet things outside to dry in the air, lovely to see some colour appearing in the garden,
Topbird Lovely photos of Oliver he looks completely relaxed 😽 enjoying a bit of sunbathing!
Yvie I’m pleased you are feeling better about things and getting outside with hubby that’s good to hear. Hope second born can sort out all the finances, it can’t be easy,
    Have a nice afternoon everyone.
  • Top bird how lovely to be visited by Oliver making himself comfortable and relaxed, lovely pics.  Yvie your gardener will have been a great help.  Glad you had a walk with oh.  It remained sunny here today.  It’s good you’re feeling better.  I cooked some fish for tea and Alfie is lounging on the sofa and fast asleep.
