Good morning everyone .Boiler engineer coming between 9and12 this morning .This time there wasn’t a leak on the boiler before the engineer came yesterday .He must have forgotten to tighten something up .I hope it’s some thing as simple as that .Debs I hope the weekend is good for gardening.Only two days to wait for you to get in there .LB fingers crossed that the poppies and rose thrive .I have the ancestors of my grans yellow poppies. They seed all over .I know the larger poppies are far more temperamental .
SGL, the rose has moved once before - from Mum's bungalow (where the uniform turned up) to handy brother's present house and now with a bit of luck and tlc it will continue to flourish in his new bungalow garden.
Ruby, I really hope that that is all it is regarding your boiler but you do begin to wonder if these engineers know what they are doing. Thank goodness you had left the bucket in place!
Busy enjoy your work in the garden and fingers crossed your new laptop is ready to be picked up.
Ante, its lovely here too. I'm heading to my Bestie's today and I suspect there may be some tweaking in her garden to be done. I hope school passes quickly and you can enjoy the day.

Hi folks, Sorry to hear about the boiler @Rubee you must be really fed up with it. Fingers crossed that the plants survive the move @Ladybird4. Weather is lovely again. Went to art class this morning and spent the afternoon in the conservatory sowing veg and flower seeds. Feel back on track now. If it stays nice tomorrow I'm hoping to get the front borders weeded.
Good afternoon all. Had a great day at Bestie's - all helped by the gorgeous weather. I did some pruning of her roses and tidying up of her hydrangeas. Hazel, she has been decorating!! We sat outside in the sunshine for about an hour and chatted - lots of tea and biscuits. The first day of many this year. We are not at Food Bank until April 14th so I'm hoping next week - which is supposed to be cooler - gives us a chance to go out somewhere. I was telling her about handy brother - who she has met before - and tomorrow's move. She says it will all be very exciting. I am more pragmatic!

LB, I'm glad that you had a nice time with your Bestie. Are you going to help your brother tomorrow?
Rubee, I hope that boiler is now sorted.
It was another beautiful day. I overdid myself a bit, with work in the garden and walk. My right leg is complaining a bit. We will have few new students in the school next week. First twentiw refugies arrived today in my town. Now is time for tea and rest.
Ante, I will be helping with my brother's move tomorrow but my main task - apart from tea and biscuits lady - is to wait in the bungalow for the BT engineer to come and install his new telephone line. Our nephew, Matt, and his mate Andy are bringing two large vans to help with the move. I'm leaving all the heavy stuff to them. I think I will check out the garden at the bungalow too and see what has appeared since the last time I was there. I do hope that your leg is not too badly hurt Ante. I feel so sorry for those refugees Ante. I cannot even imagine the grief, heartache and sense of loss they are feeling.
Hazel, I reckon shed painting counts! Are they vine weevils that are eating the roots of your plants?

Your boiler sounds a bit of a nightmare @ Rubee. I hope it can be repaired.
There was a frost last night but it should be a warm day.
I'll finish weeding the raspberries then the terrace bed. I hope my new laptop will be ready to collect.

Another sunny and warm morning. I have few plans for today in my front garden. Hope I'll have enough time to doo all the things. But, school first.
