Why are they costing us a lot more money?

I wish the a***hole who keeps leaving bags of dog sttt under trees in our road would just leave it out of the bags. It would degrade much quicker than the black plastic bags. I caught him at it once and his reply was that at least he was bagging it. If I see him again I'm going to follow him to see where he lives, make a collection and do a delivery in the middle of the night😠

I found out recently that if you join the Dog's Trust Companion Club you get 3rd party liability insurance for all your dogs under the £25 a year fee (1/2 price for over 60s). It's a great deal for those without insurance. They even cover the XS Willy dogs that most insurance companies won't touch. I'm not sure how far the £1m cover goes when the dog kills someone though. 1 death this year so far so on average we can still expect at least 2 more people to die.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Housework! 🤨  How many hrs/days/weeks of my life have been used up on this pointless activity? 😡  The ultimate in Sisyphean tasks - never finished, always needs doing!

Pftt!  Can you tell I would rather be in the garden? 😁

Some gardening tasks are similar, if that's any comfort😒

We just do a weekly blitz @ViewAhead and I have drastically reduced the amount of clutter on display to make it all easier.   That leaves us 6 days free for what we like to do tho I do a more in depth blitz before and after Xmas decs and around each equinox and solstice.

It'll be simpler still when all the houseplants go outside for their summer hols.

Fortnightly is about my limit. 🙂  I have zero clutter, so that's not an issue.  Houses just seem designed with too many nooks and crannies (skirting boards and so on) that attract grime.  And it doesn't help that my lower back is very immobile and aches.  I am happy to put up with pain for gardening, but not for dust. 😉

True ... but gardening in general has rewards that housework just doesn't, IMV. 😁
