I keep seeing ads for something that looks like a cross between a really uncomfortable plastic chair and a urinal on a stand. There's no indication of scale. I refuse to click on it to satisfy my curiosity. Does anyone who gets the ad know what it is?

Is that an ad from TEMA? I don’t get any ads on sites I use, but OH had an ad from them pop up on the Met Office site. He had no idea what it was for, nor did I, very odd picture but no explanation. He didn’t click on it. I’ve since read that TEMA is a website for placing orders direct with Chinese factories. I’ll say no more.....

Having had a lovely Monday afternoon doing some gardening for the first time since the new knee and feeling really pleased, I am now paying for it.   Harvest mites have got me and they are so very itchy.

@Obelixx just wait for the aches in places you didn't even realise you had.  I can now squat down with my new hip but the additional flexibility in the joint isn't always matched by flexibility in the muscles in the groin!  I do pretty impressive John Wayne impressions at times. :D

I know all about those @KT53 as it's my second knee.  It's taking longer to heal than the first and was a tad achy after Monday's efforts.  I then made it worse by deciding to clean all the windows, inside and out yesterday - too many times up and down stairs and up and down a small step-ladder I think.

And then at physio this morning he put heavier weights on my ankles and an elastic for a bit of extra resistance.  Lovely chap.

@Obelixx they aren't called physioterrorists for nothing :D  I've never been brave/daft enough to use the term to their face but I'm sure they delight in the thought.

The Chinese company is called Temu.  I wouldn’t even look at what they sell,  they do sell everything but whether you’ll receive it is a different matter.

@KT53 - that doesn't work quite as well in French which calls them kinésithérapeutes or kiné for short.   Nevertheless I shall try it on him.   He's always up for a laugh.   Golfing pal of OH and very sporty, hence the pushing to do better.

I didn't know TEMU was Chinese so thanks @Lyn.   Haven't been tempted yet but they do bombard one or two sites I visit despite having adblock.  Now I know not to order anything.

I have to say that I took a chance with Temu a while ago and have been very pleased with the products I received. Amongst a few items I ordered 3 sweat shirts as my old ones were falling apart after some 15 years of regular use. Very pleased with the material, beautifully soft and coping with regular washing very well. Time will tell but if they dont last more than a couple of years or so, I wont grumble as they were very reasonable compared with other sites. Now I know a lot of folks dont agree with purchasing goods from China and it is not something I usually do, but I simply cannot afford the prices elsewhere for something that is going to get grubby virtually as soon as I use it.
