I made mint jelly one year, @Obelixx, using apples as the "matrix".  Not quite the same as shop but perfectly acceptable, IMO.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    I believe you are mistaken @KT53. I think you'll find that it's parsnips😝
    In London. Keen but lazy.

But you also must really love her!

Either that or I know better than to upset her. :D

She doesn't have to. She waits till he's asleep and clunks him with a crutch. 🤣

She needn’t wait til he’s asleep … it’s amazing how far you can reach with a well-swung crutch 😉

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • My wife found out how far I can reach with a stick. And how unintentionally dangerous I can be.
I guess a crutch is longer.

@rowlandscastle444.  Firstly, as mentioned by others, crutches can be used at long range.  Secondly, the female of the species has an extraordinary long memory and will use any transgression maybe 20 years later :D
  •  . . . as I remember, only too well.
    🤕😇
