I had to poke a slug today. I was showing off in front of a guest being all macho about it but inside I was dying! 🤢

There are many things I'd wouldn't queue for ( actually most things). Ice cream is one of them.
We didn’t either,  we just admired the patience of the other people in the queue 😀. We were home in 5 minutes so didn’t buy anything.

A meat skewer is the perfect tool for slug catching.

I've just been to Home Bargains. The Halloween stuff was bad enough but there's two full aisles of Christmas tat already with blinking lights already flashing away. I think they've given up trying to sell beach stuff with this weather and just given up on summer completely.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

B&M have C*******s stuff in too.  I refuse to even type the word in August, or any other month prior to December.  Yes I am a humbug.

No Christmas stuff in our Home Bargains yet, but the gardening aisle was half empty so I expect they're running it down ready for the wintertime seasonal tat.

If you need to replace any garden furniture get out to the GC ASAP. They are emptying these sections for Christmas rubbish.
