Love it @pansyface and yes, @B3, got to love proper use of a colon.

There's still fun to be had with the improper use of a colon though :-)
On an unrelated topic I'm hoping my butt gets filled tonight. So much for my dry weather prediction. Butt was installed today and rain is due tonight.

  • Being married to a language teacher, I get reminded of the use of punctuation, so am familiar with the colon, semi-colon, and much more.
Whether I choose to use them correctly or not, can be the topic of an evening's conversation!! o:)

Well that weekend didn't really go to plan... On Thursday night I wrote a list of garden jobs that I needed to tackle while I had four days off work and then got up early on Friday to make a strong start. I decided to have two days on destructive work and then two days clearing up. By Friday night the garden was a total mess with empty pots and piles of cuttings everywhere. Then the car got a puncture, my oldest son started throwing up everywhere and the tumble dryer started playing up. The garden looks better but is still a total mess and nowhere near where I needed to be with it. Better than nothing I suppose...

    Can you compost  vomit?

Well job number four on the job list was 'Empty composter' and that didn't get done due to job number three 'Move stuff that's in the way of composter' not getting done. It was a bit of a Rubix Cube of a job list with things needing to be done to allow other jobs to be done. Like cutting the grass isn't going to get done until I fix the mower but I can't fix the mower until I clear space in the garage and I can't clear space in the garage because it's sunny and I don't want to. :s

Working in my greenhouse at the bottom of the garden yesterday pm. I  kept hearing this jingle jangle sound. Yes you guessed the new neighbour over the back has put up a bl**dy wind chime. Worse its right on the boundary  at the bottom of their garden,  why can't they have it near the house so it drives them mad not me. 😠
