Bought several bags of general purpose compost from Wickes. I noticed the first time I opened a bag it was rather stinky (my dog thought so too as he tried to EAT it!). It did smell rather earthy and 'wholesome' but the smell from the opened bag seemed to go after a while.

A couple of days ago I started off 10 begonia tubers as there were signs of life (little buds appearing) thinking they could sit on the kitchen window sill while I nurtured them. What a bad mistake that was, my kitchen this morning smells like a herd of pigs with gastric problems slept the night on my kitchen floor.  :#

I'm expecting a delivery of some curved cane hoops and polythene to make a cloche today so I can put the begonia tubers under Just wish I had a greenhouse!  :s
Trying to be the person my dog thinks I am!

I've got under Dave's skin.  He's the bloke working late on Sunday evening for the Incredibledirect.ie "support team", and I've been having a long and involved email conversation with him on the subject of the timer switch I ordered towards the end of November last year.  It was supposed to be a Christmas present, but didn't arrive until January 14th, immediately following a stinky review I left on Trustpilot.  (The "support team" hadn't seen fit to respond to the emails I'd sent them in the meantime.)

I didn't try it until a week ago.  You can't give a Christmas present in January... and it doesn't work.  I left more stink on Trustpilot.  Dave is offended, and rude.  I have been studiously polite.  It's quite fun...
Here’s another reason to dislike this company… I was interested (nosey parker!) so had a look at Trustpilot. It doesn’t seem good that they’ve published your email address and phone number on your review!

I have checked and you are right. This is serious breach of privacy. I'm amazed this hasn't been reported. I've sent a pm to @Liriodendron and reported it to Trustpilot.

Jeez. How on earth can they let that happen?
How do I go about reporting it too? Do you just go onto their site?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I went onto the site to do it, but it's not the easiest thing in the world to do. I had to go around the houses a bit, starting with "contact us" at the bottom of the first page. I reported it under "Privacy" in the various options.
Of course, it may be easier than l make it sound, l'd only had one mug of tea at the time, but it did go through. The more people who report it, the better.
