I also got lots of red legged shield bugs , also known as Forest bugs. They'll be in the oak trees as well.

I just saw a speckled wood in my garden - noticed for the first time ever. I'm sure I am finding "first sightings" mostly because my ID skills are better now and I have my bug goggles on these days.

I absolutely get the 'bug goggles', @SalixGold. Before you start looking you see just insects. Then you start to really see insects and they get to you.
