But they don't have the two I want :/. Mid-summer Nights Dream and Kew Gardens.  I looked and would have ordered them. Guess I'll just have to wait til next year.

@Marlorena I have just come across this thread and I have found it very informational, thank you for the pictures and your insights. So far I have only liked many petalled roses but now Blush Noisette and Ghislaine de Feligonde made it to my garden :-).

I am tempted to buy 'Pink Martini' from the half price bareroots sale but I will pause it until I hear more from you this year.

Late to finish, but loved this thread, many thanks for sharing your knowledge.  I don't think I would ever tire of a rose index or review thread  :)

I glad you featured The Lark Ascending, I suppose it's a simple rose, but there's just something about it and it glows.  As a yellow flower fan, happy to see so many featured too.  Thank you :)

..thank you.. I'm pleased you found something of interest here..

'Pink Martini' is looking good even right now, with the new leaves, one of my best foliaged roses in Spring..

@Marlorena, thank you for the advance warning, gives us time to save up so I don't have to resist the temptation. I've already got a long list.

  • Marlorena, I have thoroughly enjoyed your thread! Could you do another one about companion planting with roses? I think that would be very interesting too.
