  • Hello everyone … I can’t see my post on here from yesterday … I must’ve missed the Post button 🙄 I definitely typed one, but did get a bit distracted cos it was our anniversary… we celebrated with a delicious Chinese meal last night. 😋
Its good to see you @Yviestevie … sorry life’s being a bit tough at the moment. Hope things settle down soon.  Big hugs … you’ve been missed.
And hope all those who’re ‘under the weather’ for whatever reason find sunny days soon. 🌞

Good morning all. Off to clear the allotment for the new tenants today. I am leaving my poly tunnel and the raised beds we brought but I want my fruit cage and sweet pea supports plus the rhubarb and gooseberry bushes. They can keep the blueberry plants 5 years not a single berry!
We also have to move the water feature and miniature apple tree. Plus dig up about 50 gladioli bulbs. Going to be a busy morning!
  • Thank you @Ladybird4 😊

Good morning Debs. Oh my goodness but you have got a monumental task ahead of you. I do hope you will be able to get some assistance. Try not to overdo things. I hope that you find all your gladioli.

    Morning all.

Glad you slept so well @star gaze lily

I hope your OH feels better soon @Rubee, but it's good that his injections were OK.

    Belated Happy Anniversary to @Dovefromabove

We had a good evening with our friends. They had second helpings and said that they enjoyed the meal. I dropped the serving spoon onto my new jumper when I took the casserole dish back to the kitchen. It looked very stained after sponging it, but, luckily some stain remover and the washing machine did the trick.

The sun is shining outside at last.

    Morning all,

Sunshine and blue skies earlier but it's got Winkelman now. Finishing off the latest blueberry planter and sowing a few seeds (tomato and chilli) are on the 'to do list' today.

VM connection is currently behaving. If it goes off again, OH is poised and ready to be unleashed @Chivetalking :D

Morning everyone. A nice sunny day today which lifts the mood a little.

Just heard back from our landscaper - he can't even come to measure / price up for replacing the fence until the 12th March - goodness knows when it will actually get done. Think we're going to have to buy some temporary bracing posts this week.

Still feeling a bit low but a bit cheerier today as I'm going to meet my friend (who I haven't seen in over a year) and we're off to see Adam Frost. Definitely looking forward to that. Tea and cake will also be on the agenda. Same friend, club and venue as when we saw Cleve West @Dovefromabove 🙂 Happy anniversary for yesterday BTW - love to you both😎

Finished painting in the kitchen yesterday LB and also gave it a good spring clean. All looks much fresher. Need to clean brushes and rollers this morning - really couldn't face it last night.

Hope your OH starts to feel the benefit of his injections very soon Rubee.

Think I'll pop into the SM on the way home & get a few bits. OH has looked after me while I've been painting - making tea, lunches, dinner etc - but he's been restricted to using just the oven and microwave. I'm desperate for something that doesn't include roast veggies! Think a nice curry might be on the cards....
