  • Evening all,
Hello Janet 👋 it certainly has been a chilly day, a seat by the fire is a great place to be,
Nice to see you Pauline 😊
I did a bit of tidying outside this afternoon, but it was so cold and breezy I didn’t manage to sort out the arch.
Very tired Goodnight everyone, I hope you all sleep well.

    Good morning all.

    Warm welcome to Janet.

Clear and cold morning. It must be frost up in the hills. It across to my mind last night, that I can make few raised beds for veggies like radishes and salads.
Today I have some unmentionables to do and nothing else.

Good morning Ante and all to follow. I think I might sow some seeds today. The heated propagator that arrived so early the other day came with 7 teeny seed trays, each with its own little vent in the top. These sit inside the heated tray. It will be nice to see things starting to grow.
Pauline - good to see you. I trust you and yours are keeping well?
Chive, maybe you will get a chance to sort out your arch today - or maybe you can wait until half term?
I did not get much sleep last night as I have a bit of a cold so I am not going visiting rellies today. Some are in Rome anyway so it would have been a bit of a hike!

I had to smile at some news from Beijing today, Shock horror but it started snowing 'real' snow. The marshalls were having to clear it from the surface of the man-made snow on the giant slalom to keep things safe.

  • Good morning all.  Yes LB I saw them removing the real snow.  Pauline I hope you are keeping well.  Welcome Janet.  LB I hope you catch up on your sleep today and keep warm, sounds like you caught a chill.  Ante I have unmentionables to do too.

Good morning RosieBB. I am staying in and keeping warm. I don't feel ill - just got a major sniffle. Actually, I reckon its the cold Ante had a week or so back. Thanks Ante!
I will be able to find lots of things to do inside today. I had thought about a Lily's TV session but guess what! Its raining here.

Good morning everyone .Ante have a restful day .Sorry you have a cold LB .Keep warm and enjoy the Olympics. Rosie I hope you slept . Time for breakfast .
  • Good morning everyone. Thank you for the kind hellos.
It's pouring with rain and the forecast isn't good, so I may have to do indoor jobs, or sort out my seeds. My OH is using my propagator for his brewing project, I may have to rethink that one!
Whatever your plans, have a good 'un.

ps  re  my avatar pic-  that was my neighbour's cat, he was quite a character.
  • Good Morning Ante, LB, Bluebells, Rubee & Janet and all to follow,
Ante Raised beds are a good idea, you can make all your plans while doing the unmentionables enjoy your day,
LB Sorry to hear you have caught a chill and had a broken nights sleep, staying in the warm and sowing seeds sounds like the perfect pursuit today especially if it’s raining,
Bluebells I hope you had a good sleep, those unmentionables are always waiting to be done aren’t they 🙂
Rubee Hope you & OH slept well, a good breakfast to start the day off right,
Janet Sorry to hear your weather is grim, hope you find something nice to do today,
We are going to take a look at the arch, the forecast isn’t great though breezy and wet.
Hope you all have a good day xxx

Morning all. Dry and breezy here but the forecast is for rain later. May not manage my 30 minutes outside today but most of those have stretched to nearer 90 mins / 2 hrs so a day off won't hurt. Maybe I could just find one little job to tick off...
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
