  • good morning LB I walked to the bus stop yesterday and there was a gale and bitterly cold, save your legs and enjoy your tea and toast.  Look after yourself it’s not worth getting wet if you don’t have to.

    Morning all,

Doesn't feel like it as cold as was forecast - damp and murky rather than clear and crisp. It's another day waiting for a delivery, unfortunately. Another one next week and then a ban on online ordering!

As for waiting for the tree chap :o

Biglad, I've been outside putting air into my tyres and it is Baltic where I am. At least it isn't raining though and I am going to go to Canasta this afternoon.

The church was filthy, but I enjoyed it, there were 3 other ladies to chat to. Now it smells of polish  :)

The table mats I ordered from the RHS special offer have arrived. We have been looking for some new ones for a while. I'm pleased with them as they match the curtains and cushion covers in the dining room, blue and yellow hydrangeas on the white fabric. The mats are more blue and green hydrangeas on a white background, pretty.

The delivery arrived relatively early. That's sister's 'main' b'day present sorted for next week. There'll be some smaller gifts in plant form ;)

I'm free for a tip trip and SM shop now. Happy days :o
