    Got it in one Crazybeelady.
Thank you for showing me your aconitum Perki, would you say yours is similar in colour to the one on the front of the catalogue?

Yes very similar . Aconitum are split into two groups Summer flowering June / July Eg.  A. napellus  / Aconitum x cammarum ,  A.Stainless steel is in the x cammarum group so its a summer flowering variety.   Late summer / autumn flowering species are  A.carmichaelii they a lot in this group like the Arendsii varieties and wilsonii  , if Lyn flowers very late its in this species .

This is the closest picture I have of it.

Mum lost a lot of her double pelargoniums a couple of years ago. While the new conservatory was being built she left them in the polytunnel and they didn't like it. We did say we would go nursery visiting when covid subsides, but two years on I've bit the bullet and ordered a load from fibrex nurseries. Delivery due March 5th. Mum is 89 next month, so putting things off now is not an option.  Not that I expect her to go any time soon. The legend that was Great Aunt Sylvia was riding a camel in Egypt at 90.

I used my saved up nectar points on last weeks shop and used the equivalent saved money to buy vouchers from Langthorns Plantery our favourite nursery.  I now have £125 in vouchers to spend there courtesy of Mr Sainsburys. Thank you very much.
I’ve already used some to buy a Daphne Perfume Princess and am eagerly waiting for the four buds to open

  • Ohhh I feel so good, no spending for me yet this year, but that’s probably only because I stayed away from shopping to avoid the dreaded bug. I dared not get it or my ear op would have been cancelled… now that it’s done I can go out again!
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

I haven't spent anything either yet this year! I must sort out my seeds and I have my eye on some more Salvias and Phlomis which I've not grown before.
