I had some small regular ones. Just not my cup of tea. They remind me of darleks. I gave them away.

I quite like the style of Diamond Frost et al.

Nothing much here to speak of! Mostly Hellebores in all different colours, odd fuchsia hanging on, lots of pot marigolds,   Wild primroses not out yet,  lovely show of creeping buttercup!

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

Very little here - pretty much as per normal   :)
Hellebore niger [they've been flowering since November]
Native primulas [they flower on and off all year round]
    Mahonia [Winter Sun]

    Other than that -
    Buds on the other Hellebores
    Buds on Sarcococca
    Buds on Iberis Sempervirens
Tiny leaf buds on the alpina clematis [Constance]
Berries on Gaultherias, the red Berberis and the evergreen Cotoneaster

Bulbs beginning to come out the ground a little bit. Snowdrops, crocus and daffs etc.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Not as much as I thought;

A few Bellis have survived the last frost and are standing straight and proud again
    Similarly, several bedding cyclamen
    My three white hellebore
    A small white heather
Sarcococca- I love the scent too
    Primula veris
    Winter cherry
    Viburnum tinus
    Violas

The thing I look forward to most of all is the first snowdrop appearing.

  •  Not much left after Arwen.
Above the parapet: ivy, Helleborus foetidus, V. bodnantense.
Very low profile: primulas, red, yellow, white and purple, and a vinca.
Smirking smugly - winter jasmine. The glass lid of the cold frame is leaning against the wall, so it's nice and cosy!
Buds on sarcococca and snowdrop noses just beginning to show. Some cotoneaster berries left and some blackened rosehips. It will look better in a month or three :)

You all have quite a selection of lovely plants considering the date! I don't know if I am allowed to share my daughter's New Year flowers? I have temporarily (I hope) relocated for health reasons so miles from home at the moment.

I managed to get round most of her garden so here goes:-

I am still rubbish at flowers but I got cyclamen and rose (with hip), not a Scooby what the other two are though, but I expect you all know

    No photos, sorry...

14, if you count the weeds (dandelion, daisy, herb robert)

Most surprising:  Hesperis matronalis, Sweet Rocket - flowering non-stop since May; self-sown Bidens ferrulifolia, which I always thought was tender, but has also been flowering non-stop.

Prettiest:  Shungiko edible chrysanthemum - lovely cheerful yellow daisies.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
