Even with a discount, the food's very expensive compared to other outlets.  :/
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

What! - 50 suet balls containing sunflower hearts for £10 is expensive? And delivered post free. You'd struggle to get 50 cheap fatballs for that.
    Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border

I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful

I was really talking about seed mixes, sunflower hearts etc @VictorMeldrew
I use Garden Wildlife direct - their fat balls are probably around that price, and I used to get their premium ones, but local outlets of all kinds are good for suet balls [around half that price] - and the birds here certainly enjoy them just as much as the expensive ones.   :)

The Great Tit is roosting for the 3rd year running in one of my bird boxes, always comes back every year.

We have loads of starlings here too @floralies, but I never see them poking around in grass. What are they looking for - do you know? Chafers or something?

I don't know @Fairygirl I've never seen so many here before, maybe they are after Chafers or Leatherjackets, they have been hanging around for the last few days.
