That spray of flowers tells me it’s definitely not Russian Vine … phew 😅!!
Do the stems have bristles? Kiwi have coarse reddish bristles on the stems … the stems also twine like runner bean stems.
I can’t see any bristles or twining stems.
I think it looks more like Climbing hydrangea … they don’t have bristles and the older stems are quite woody and develop adventitious roots which cling to brickwork like ivy does. Don’t prune until after it’s flowered … we can do a definite ID with those and if you prune now you’ll lose the flowers.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I haven't noticed bristles on the stems, they seem to be smooth. They definitely can't cling to brickwork, only wind around roses and trellis, and reach into a neighbouring tree
I cannot say kiwi but something in the same family looks promising.
That would be very cool, I wonder what would happen if I watered it! The previous owner seems to have been a good gardener, it's quite possible she tried a kiwi there

As Dove says...no bristles that would indicate Kiwi....see below Kiwi is Actinidia deliciosa....So probably not kiwi. But maybe Actinidia sp.
You have lost me. Plant is outside where it gets the rain. Why would you want to water it in winter?
I mean that I didn't water it during the summer, a few plants suffered from my ignorance unfortunately. My vinca illumination stopped flowering very early on, my magnolia looked burnt etc.

A failed kiwi?!
