  • Good morning Ante, Lily and LB.  Ante wishing you a good journey and my thoughts are with you and Rose.  I hope all goes well.  Lily be careful underfoot whilst you’re shopping.  LB I hope you slept and kept warm.  Tummy ache wearing off thank you.
  • Morning LB,  its very foggy and frosty here this morning. Think I'll go out late morning, need a card for new home and another for new job.  I have a drawer with birthday cards and cards with blank insides. Have looked through them, but haven't got one suitable.
I've been getting a lot of WhatsApp funnies about Boris.

RosieBB its good to hear you are feeling better. Learn from this - no eating loads of cheese before bedtime!
SGL, I am another who has a card stash but I do know what you mean about not finding quite the appropriate one for an occasion. Its so annoying ha ha! I've not had any WhatsApp funnies yet SGL but I expect they'll trickle in later.

OH is off to the dentist ... I'm going to make a start on an online Sainsbugs order ... all the cleaning stuff and the things I can't get from the farm shop, like loo rolls  ... I may be gone some time ..............

Have a good day folks ...

    Good morning all.

    Sunny and frosty here.

Glad your tummy ache is wearing off Rosie.

I'm not sure what I'll do today, though there are plenty of things I could do. I hadn't planned anything because the plumber was supposed to be here today to install the bath. He says he'll come in a week's time.

  • Hazel I hope you have a snooze later.   It sounds like you've been busy.   It was quite a cold night.  LB enjoy your knitting with bestie.  Chive I hope you had a good journey and managed to keep warm.  I slept for a few hours and I'm just having a cup of tea.  Busy I hope the plumber does arrive next week and there aren't too many delays.

Good afternoon all. I had a busy knitting day with Bestie and we spent a lot of time watching the workmen across the road building a porch on the side of one of the houses. I honestly do not think I've seen anyone work more slowly. Tall hatless workman spent most of his time talking on his mobile phone and then he wafted about with a power drill. Short hatted workman drank enough mugs of a hot beverage to float the Titanic then walked about poking and prodding the door surround. They finished work at 14:30 and put a piece of hardboard in the aperture where there will eventually be a door. Tell you what, it was better and more entertaining than TV
