That is why I said about an app. Why even be imprecise with speech when I can send those coordinates? I'd all but guarantee there's an app already there to do it (just went on playstore and GPS coordinates seems grab the coordinates and allow you to send them) - but an emergency app would be ideal that interfaced straight to the emergency services.
As for the 's' not making a difference - depends again on the word and how the information is being given doesn't it? I wonder if what3words caters for similar words - ruff or rough, scene or seen, some or sum, mat or matt, core or corps....

Think I've read there's a dept within the company that makes sure there's nothing disrespectful in the word, for instance it wouldn't be great having say 'corpse' for a hospital's 3 words, or at a war memorial a word like 'traitor' or 'coward' - that would simply be awful. Perhaps such words with different spellings are also flagged by their department?

Those Serious reader lights seem shockingly expensive. We buy daylight bulbs, rather than the usual warm white versions, for our reading and work lights, and for areas where we need extra illumination, like the stairs down to the utility room. Works very well for us, and easily available from the regular diy stores.
My spiraliser from Lidl gets regular use now it’s courgette season, but also good for raw carrots and cucumber, as an alternative to slices or grating. I did buy one of the tiny handheld versions, but managed to cut myself with it.
I wonder if we would eat more cherries if I bought a cherry stoner? Don’t have them very often ( I have to buy them) and have to make do with a teaspoon handle.

I did look at serious readers a few years ago, in looking for a powerful spot light for reading and craft. They didn’t seem stronger than regular bulbs. But Useful to have long neck that you can angle. I have a series of three different lights at various different height now for crafting. Which isn’t great either.

My house does seem to be getting darker and darker as I age.

...I thought it was too simple to have been overlooked - have a look at this:
...and that's dated 2016, so presumably that's up and running nationwide. It does mean that you need to be calling from a mobile - but calling from a known landline shouldn't be an issue anyway.

I am looking for a super-light rose dead-heading device - not for branches.

I am eyeing up something like this. The lighter and sharper the better. Any thoughts?

I use one and it's brilliant for reaching across the border to roses growing by the fence and reaching up to my climbers.  Wouldn't be without it.
