The Herpes delivery lady was dropping a parcel off at a neighbouring house while I was de-icing the car this morning. No one answered her knock and she left the parcel leaning against the front door in full view. I walked over to tell her no one lives there at the moment so she might want to hide it somewhere out of sight or check the delivery instructions but she said she'd just take it back to the hub instead. I'm not totally convinced she can read the instructions as her deliveries tend to be a bit erratic. We've had to retrieve parcels from neighbouring streets before now as she can do numbers but not names I think. I hope I haven't messed up someone's delivery now though :#
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

From what I have read, only one government minister has failed to give Boris their fulsome support.  That person is Rishi Sunak, possibly/maybe/probably looking to be the next Prime Minister.
The sucking up to Boris by ministers on TV this morning was sickening.  Boris has always said we need to wait for the results of the enquiry before making any decision, why didn't they all at least take that route?

They sucked up because to them even a reluctant lying semblence of an apology impressed them .......... now they need to listen to the words ... that was no apology ... as I've said, it was regret at being caught out .... 'it wasn't me ... it was everyone else' ... he didn't even know it was a party ... they get pie-eyed at every meeting they go to ... every party he's ever been to has had jelly and ice cream and presents  ... a friend has suggested that when Boris applied for the job of leading the Conservative Party, the word 'party' confused him ...........🍷 🎉🎈🥳

@steveTu. Shaun is a man's name. I think you should choose an androgynous name like Alex or Hilary.

It isn't often that I'm pushed to email the MP for this area but I did this morning. The last time was the Colin Pitchfork fiasco.
I eagerly await excuses - or not as the case may be.

How much do you think is a reasonable price to charge for squirting water at the front windows of a terraced house once a fortnight?

I could do it for a tenner, although you'd need to pay my travel expenses, of course

That's what the price has gone up to from £8. 50. And then he was going up a ladder with a bucket and chamois leather. It looks like less work for more money now.

Why do you get them done ever 2 weeks?
He's just here just now doing mine. Every two months for £20.
Dearer than the last lot, but I was sick to death of them randomly charging different amounts and ignoring emails from me about leaving all the gates open.
