I think you are all missing the point.
Yes it is true you have to sign in [ I have been to a party there; no not that one! ]
But, it is likely all the people at the party work at No. 10, they were supposed to be there. The party would have followed on straight from work [ no one is going to go back into Central London having gone home ]
They can argue they were all in the same room for work.

I think that is why the police will not proceed with the investigation, proof will be too hard too establish.

So the scumbags hung on after work for their cheese and wine and secret santa and games, but that WASN'T  a party, they were still at work?
That makes it all ok then?

I don't think it does make it ok, but I think it makes it impossible to investigate.

That "secret Downing Street exit" piece @floralies found is very odd... can't find out much about Eminetra, except that they have correspondents based all round the US.  But they seem hardly to be literate.  The first sentence reads "Boris Johnson has a secret Downing Street exit, so civil servants can leave without their knowledge."  Eh??  It carries on in similar vein; maybe English isn't their first language, because very little of the article actually makes sense.

I think we have to be careful what we believe... I don't think Eminetra is going on my list of trusted sources.

I am probably wrong but I remember MI5 denying any secret tunnels, saying quite plausibly, that they would make the place less safe.

This may or may not help , but your alternative email address needs to be a verified one ( and you might need to have a mobile number with them as well so they can confirm 2 factor authentication if that is required - i don't know). In paypal FAQ help

https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/what’s-a-primary-email-address-and-how-do-i-manage-it-faq1187?app=searchAutoComplete   ( if link doesnt work you can go to help in paypal and search for keywords) --- basically you cant edit it , you need to have a different verified email address and then change that to primary .

Article has more details. I know I did it but over 5 years ago now so cannot remember if the way I log in changed when the primary email changed.

One question - if people are all working together all day, what harm is there in them having cheese and wine at the end of the working day?  The ridiculous thing is all the lying and prevarication around it, assuming it did happen.  If Boris or one of his merry men had simply acknowledged that it happened and that with hindsight it was a bad idea, it would all be over with by now.  That's what Gavin Williamson has done.  I always thought he was a waste of space but at least he's given a plausible explanation.
  • That site does read very oddly and has a few very bad typos/misspellings.
I’ve always understood that most ‘everyday’ coming and going at No 10 has always been via the rear entrance and through the garden.
