@Obelixx just popping in for some advice, I know you sew, I want to buy fabric for a romper for a one year old, how much will I need? Google gives very confusing advice hope you can help.ย
Sounds good Wonky. I have always liked knitting, but now that Iโm older, I love it. When I lived in Darwin, it was too hot to knit and besides the kids didnโt need warm clothing, but down here in the mountains, itโs a good excuse to get the needles clacking. ย ย
Weโve just had a very loud hail storm pass over. ย (Even I could hear it on the roof, which makes a change). ๐
Morning all, I was awake quickly this morning with one of my nosebleeds, luckily i keep plenty of tissues and a Rhino Pinch by the bed! Have another hospital appointment the week after next to see what they have to say this time. Cold here this morning, I was going to put the washing out but it looks like rain so won't bother. I'm going to try and download a calendar template, I refuse to pay the price they want over here for one.ย Catch up later, have a good day all.
Greetings all.ย ย Disturbed night for me too so I read and then was woken with juice and mint tea at 9am.ย It is grey and dark and wet so, other than checking my chooks and cleaning their water and bedding, I shall be indoors all day.ย Looks like a soggy week coming up with rain nearly all day for the foreseeable.
Like you @chicky, I don't have creative talent except for following a pattern or working out how something was done and then copying or adapting.ย ย Not a bad talent to have.
Hope all goes smoothly and you have a safe trip back with no hassles @Busy-Lizzie.
Stay safe everyone, wherever you are and whatever you're doing.

Quite mild here. Been for my first walk for over a month today, the virus has really knocked me about. Managed about a mile and was so exhausted I thought I might not get back.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Pa used to forget that @punkdoc, and he had COPD .... if he walked along the sea front there were plenty of seats he could rest on, but if he walked across the marshes (which he loved to do, to see the waders and wildfowl) there was nowhere for him to sit and rest a while, until we got him a 'shooting stick' ... then he could perch on that for ten minuete and get his breath while watching the birds, until he was ready to head for home.ย May be an idea?ย ย

@debs64 it depends on the size of the baby and the width of the chosen fabric.ย Check out this link -ย https://www.sewdirect.com/product-category/category/childrenswear-patterns/babies-and-toddlers/ - then click on a pattern you like and swipe thru the photos till you get fabric listings on the back of the envelope.ย That should give you an idea.
