Thanks LB. He can walk but I must avoid my cousin with his labrador. We often meet and two of them jump, run and play togther. We must have slow and careful walks next two weeks.
Accidents with peat always happen when is impossible to get to the vet. Usually late evening and at night.

Hazel, I forgot to answer your question re the new thriller on TV. I started to watch the second part of The Girl Before but then decided it was too creepy and sordid. I decided I wanted to have a laugh and be entertained so watched QI instead.

You are right Ante - also at the weekends. Yes, you must be careful with Max, you do not want to make things worse.

One of my squash team had a chocolate lab (dark brown colour) and he wagged his tail so hard one day in her kitchen that it broke the tip of his tail. He had a little kink in it ever after. She was disappointed as she had hoped to show him, but the kink in his tail made him imperfect in Kennel Club rulings. He was still a big daft dog though and very gentle.
p.s. should have said that his waggy tail hit one of her kitchen cupboard doors.

  • Ante so sorry to hear about Max.  It’s good the vet has given you the painkillers.  As you say, it’s best to keep him calm and not getting over excited around another dog.  How upsetting for you.  I hope Max and you can get some rest and sleep.  I hope he is soon better.  Our pets are very special.

Thank you Rosie and Hazel. I'm quite tired after all happenings. I'll try to watch tv a bit more and I'm going to bed. It's a huge relief because he is also sleeping.
