Do any of you clever people sew? My youngest daughter has just made a romper for Thomas. Wanted to get her fabric for another one but not sure how much? One metre? Half a metre? He is 9 months old if that helps? Google gave me conflicting advice
Morning Ante, SGL, Busy and Hazel. SGL - missed you yesterday. Sorry to hear you have a cold. I think I may be developing one - time will tell.
Busy, enjoy the cocktail party but with your early start tomorrow I think its a good idea not to stay too long.
Have a good nap this afternoon Ruby - but not too much or you may not sleep tonight.
Hazel, I am going to start on my tree tomorrow.
I'm going out for a Christmas lunch today with the quizzers. I'm being picked up at 13:00 so that will be very nice for a change. Plenty of card and gift exchanging in the pub.
Debs, it is dependent on the actual width of the material. If it is anything from 110cm - 150cm then a metre should be ample.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
We have decided not to go to the cocktail party, need an early night and I don't want the slightest risk of catching Covid. I may also have to have a test after I get back to France and my booster is on Wednesday. I'll pop round this afternoon and give them my canapes.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hazel, nice that you have new arch. Good luck to your OH with making new wooden arch.
Snow episode luckily was short. Whole afternoon is sunny but very cold. I'm finished with all chores and I can rest now. I'll maybe go to cottage tomorrow. It's covered with snow.
Afternoon everyone. I have had a lovely lunchtime today. It was great seeing all of the team even though its only been a month since our last meeting. There were quite a few office parties going on so the atmosphere was wonderful.
Busy, I agree with Hazel - not worth the risk. If I don't get chance to see you tomorrow, I wish you bon voyage.
Feet up tonight Ante tea and TV or your book.

Hazel, I doubt that snow will melt. Here on the coast is 2℃ now. Up in the hills is around -10℃ for sure. Have a nice day tomorrow with your son and 23.
I had lovely evening and now is time for me to retire for tonight. Good night and sweet dreams.
