  • Hello all … have a good journey @Busy-Lizzie … au revoir x

It’s good to hear folk are feeling a bit better … keep warm and dry … it’s not very nice out there.

    Good morning to all.

    Bussy, have a safe journey!

Rosie and SGL, you were up whole night. Rosie, you made me laugh with your breakfast at 2 am😁.

Here is calm, sunny and freezing morning. My pond has thin ice crust. I already was at SM. I was missing some essential so I made a quick shopping. Luckily, SM is only 100 m away from my house.
I'll  go to cottage around noon. My dog will be happy on the snow I think.

    Have a lovely Saturday!

  • Morning everyone,
Eventually got back to sleep. Having a slow lazy morning, still full of cold.
Sun is shining at the moment, but looks chilly outside.
Hope you managed to get some sleep @bluebellsinthewild
    Safe journey @Busy-Lizzie
Have a lovely time with 23 @Songbird-1 bet he's getting excited about Christmas.
Sorry @Ladybird4 meant to say glad your time at the food bank went well. How lovely of those ladies to donate a full shop.
    @debs64 have a lovely evening.
@Chivetalking hope you and your family are well, take care.
Have a lovely day everyone, sorry if I've missed anyone, mind has gone blank.

Evening all. What a shocker today has been - hail, sleet, rain, wind blowing a hooley. The Cres. is flooded which means that the road drain is probably blocked up again. That will be fun if it freezes! Not! I have just this minute sat down having spent most of the day clearing the decks and running Noo Noo round where I will be putting up the tree. Going with sis to Crewe tomorrow to see our Connie Crew friend's new bungalow (it must be doing the rounds!) but we will make our final decision tomorrow morning as I do not want to be driving in this weather.
I hope that Busy is home now and that her kind helper Patrick (?) has lit the log burner for her as a welcome.
Hazel, you seem to have had another wonderful day with 23 and Co. Feet up now and relax. Once the word gets round about your feeding stations, more birds will come but you need to feed them all the time now. Any old, wrinkly apples will be welcomed by the blackbirds if you quarter them and leave them on the ground near the feeders.
Ante, your dog will have been disappointed again by the ice on the puddle this morning. Hope all went well at the cottage.

    Good evening all.

LB,sorry to hear about your weather and that you don't have any damage. I hope that water will not freeze during night.

Here was wonderful day, despite only 2℃. We were at my cottage and everything was on the place. My dog enjoyed at snow, and now he is sleeping. I have my tea now with chocolate candies.

Bug in the kitchen sounds fun Hazel.

I'm back in my French home now. Plane was a bit late and I stopped at the SM on the drive home. Car started first go  :) Laptop is working. Humax box won't work, which means no English TV, no Strictly  :'(  House is quite warm, Patrick had lit the stove, but it had gone out. I've re-lit it.

    Evening all,

Busy days all round. Marti has overstayed his welcome today. Had to abandon my running-around-a-field duties as the pitch became waterlogged and the players were begging me to end it :o

Not sure what they made of my short sleeved shirt :D
