It looks like sis and I are good to go to Crewe this morning. Another assessment will be made when it is actually light though!
I hope that you all have wonderful days today. Spoke to handy brother yesterday. He and his mate had had a lovely time in the Isle of Wight. The weather had been kind to them but they both found the long drive tiring.

Just received an email telling me that GoCompare have been 'acquired' by Future plc. I can't wait for that advertising jingle!

Good morning LB and all to follow. Good night last night meal rather poor but lots of laughs and Prosecco made up for it and I was at home before midnight. Fiancé back at work hoping he is okay waiting for a phone call, I sometimes think because he always looks so fit and well ( ho goes the the gym regularly as it helps control his diabetes) people don’t really believe he is ill.
I am putting tree 🌲 dressing on hold until he is back so it’s in the garden still probably the best place until probably Tuesday now but will do bits and pieces today.
Pleased to hear @Ante30 had a good day at the cottage and that @Busy-Lizzie is safely home and cosy. @Biglad you must be crazy playing football in the pouring rain.
@Ladybird4 take care driving to Crewe and enjoy your day

Good morning LB, Rosie, debs and all to follow.

LB, have a nice day with your sister at Crew. Safe trip!

Debs, I'm glad to hear that your fiance is well and ready for work. Have a nice time decorating a tree with him.

Weather is here like spinning wheel, yesterday beautiful day and today rain and wind. I have my tea now. I can't decorate my tree because I didn't buy it yet, and I'm still waiting to my new lights. Lights will probably come next week, and I'll go to buy potted tree 13th.

Good morning Ruby, Debs and Ante.
Ruby I hope that you have a decent enough day to get Lily's TV on.
Debs, prosecco was in abundance at our lunch on Friday. A nice drink when you aren't driving. I did nothing to my tree yesterday as I had planned but did do the preparatory work! Hope your Fiancé doesn't find work too onerous.
Ante, you will be lighting the second candle on your Advent wreath today.

Hello all … hope everyone’s had a restful night … I’ve been informed that son would welcome more thermal clothing for his upcoming birthday … the weather is not conducive to getting his washing dry quickly and apparently it’s flippin’ cold standing outside all day managing a mobile Covid testing station on the Essex coast Brrrr!!!
