Best way KT, Ā  But when one of my friends is told to ā€˜Get a life’ when Ā he’s just living the days until his partner dies, Ā I don’t think that’s on.
So, the phrase ā€˜Get a Life’ is my curmudgeon for the day.Ā
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.Ā

Your "friend" hasn't the monopoly in that situation.

It still doesn't excuse their general attitude frequently demonstrated on here.

@Doghouse Riley If you wish to continue with this exchange, could you please do it outside the corner?Ā Ā
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I'm only responding to snarky comments directed at me in the first place and to people like you who feel it's their business to put in their two penn'oth.

I used to really like Bassets liquorice allsorts, and pontefract cakes, but they seem to have changed the recipe and now they don't taste right. I do like the australian soft liquorice though.

Well do it somewhere else. I don't care who started it.Ā
If you want to post, within the spirit of the thread, about something else that interests or annoys you, that's fine.

    OK

I can't understand people who feel it their business to tell others what to do, when it was nothing to do with them in the first place.

    How's that?

My curmudgeon is that although I’ve used the ignore button, which has greatly improved my enjoyment of the forum, when posters ā€˜quote’ the person I’m ignoring, I still see his post!Ā
Hope Punkdoc is starting to feel a bit better, and that Hostafan is getting enough sleep between trips to visit hubby. I do value your posts on medical matters and how to help my Hostas thrive, so do look after yourselves.

    My thread. My business.

    That's telling me isn't it?

You mean everyone's is your's too?
    OK.
