    Morning all.

I'm pretty  sure that star is Venus @Dovefromabove.

We are going to lunch in Southwold with friends today, fish place. Looking forward to it.

    Ooh enjoy @Busy-Lizzie yum 😋
I wondered if it was Venus … it’s good to have it confirmed. Thanks 🙏
OH didn’t sleep well … he had the chills and a headache following his booster. He’s just having his breakfast and will see how he is … he’s due to go in to work at noon.

Morning all, busy last couple of days - builders in rectifying work of other builders (court case). GP was pleased with my BP taken over three days at home, needless to say it was up when she took it at the surgery! Booster jab booked for 16th Dec the day after a hospital appt.
The sun is out, the first time in days, It's been so cold with low cloud and drizzle. Haven't seen @Pat E for a couple of days hope all is ok, and I guess @punkdoc decided to take a step back.
Plenty to do in the garden today so catch you all later   B)

  • Morning everyone,  lovely bright start today.  I normally have my volunteer work on a Thursday but I'm taking a week out as I have too much of my own garden and plots to do.
Hope all is well with you all.
    AB Still learning

  • OH still feels slightly feverish … he’s phoned work and they’ve told him to stay at home today.

    Hi Floralies. Im Ok, thanks.

Been busy doing other things. For example, a neighbour purchased a new printer, and as Hubby is regarded locally as the expert on computer stuff, we've had several visits to her place to get her set up, and then calls for help for follow up stuff. I took my knitting with me 🙄.

Then today, Hubby had a long visit to the dentist.

I’m currently flopping in front of TV watching Michael Portillo walking around the  Devon coastline.

Hello Pat, glad you are ok and keeping busy! I've always enjoyed Michael Portillo on his train journeys around different countries.

Thanks Dove - I had seen that and was surprised to see that there is still so much of the old building left, I thought it had all gone.  Still don't know exactly where it is though. But good news it's going to be gradually brought back to life - the old pics of what it used to look like show that it was amazing at the time.  Robert Shaftoe (of Bobby Shaftoe going to sea fame) lived there at some point.
Sorry to hear your OH is feeling poorly.  My facebook timeline is full of friends having to stay home because their kids have tested positive.  There was a lull during half term but now all the kids are back...  And we have the Christmas Lights Switch on tomorrow.  I'm running a 'find the pudding' stall (map of Bungay they have to stick pins in). I shall be masked but you can bet that none of the families will be!

Dove, my sister and her husband report having been knocked for six by the booster. They had Pfizer first time round, and had Covid before that. OH and I were both fine.
