That’s good news, Busy-Lizzie. Hope all goes smoothly from here. Glad you are able to stay and keep OH company for a bit longer at least.

Been for a wander round the garden in the sun, now feel as though I have run a marathon.

    Little steps Punkdoc.

  • Oh @Busy-Lizzie you must be a bit on edge with all the chopping and changing ... but it's good news that D2 feels strong enough to talk things through with her husband and try to plan a positive future for them all, whether it's together or separately.  So glad that you can be with your OH for a bit longer. :D Big Hugs xx

  • Rest now @punkdoc ... put your feet up, have some lunch, listen to some music, read a book, watch rubbish tv ... as @lyn says, 'little steps' ... it's what you'd be telling a patient isn't it?  ;)

    Thank you.

Glad @punkdoc has sun, we have rain. Don't overdo it.

My mind feels as though it has run a marathon with all the phone calls and worry of the last few days. I just hope D2 is strong enough to see her husband, he has behaved like a bully.

  • Thoughts are with her and the children @Busy-Lizzie 🤞

He'll probably still be a bully @Busy-Lizzie but it will help a great deal for daughter 2 to know she has the support of her own family.   Good luck to her.

Ditto @punkdoc.  Bit at a time and rest and warmth between.

Just about to head out.  If I time my SM raids right I'll hit the fabric shop just as it opens again after their lunch.

I understand totally @Busy-Lizzie when there is turmoil in the family, your brain goes into overdrive trying to make sense of it all. It's good that you can stay with OH.
Heavy showers here today but not a cold wind like yesterday.
Have a good rest now @punkdoc and don't worry about the garden!

    Good afternoon and Bon appètit!

Been trying to sweep up and pick as many olives as I can reach, this morning.  They are hard to sweep up as they roll away all the time!!

Hooray!! @Busy-Lizzie  for 1.  You can stay longer with your OH  2.  Your daughter's medication is working and 3.  She is brave enough to take the bull by the horns.
Relax with a nice G + T this evening and put your feet up!!  And that applies to you too @punkdoc !!

Très belle femme @SamBevington  !!  lucky you being a Size 10 now!!  Mine's had the gravity syndrome and has all gone south!!

Will finish lunch, have a rest and get on with some more sweeping.

    Enjoy your day.
