I'm watching the documentary on the storming of the capitol. I knew it was bad but I am genuinely shocked and angry. My blood is boiling! I have never believed in death penalty and hopefully never will but I think these people probably won't accept they're in the wrong without serious punishment. I won't sleep tonight unless I calm down. It's sickening!

My fear is whether it could happen here? If it did would you be with them or would you stand up to defend what democracy we have? If it did would you be willing to organise to help stop it?  Why didn't true American patriots not turn up to defend the capitol? Why did people leave it to those criminals?

Trump stirred them up to believe they were the true American patriots!  He's now apparently starting his own social media network called "Truth social".  At least he obviously still has a sense of humour.
  • They're moving a statue of jefferson one of the principal writers of the us constitution. Apparently.

Well I have to ask,  did he use a secure server to do that? He was in France when it was written so unless he had zoom back then he had nothing to do with it. But trump doesn't know the truth about anything. The idiot!

Clingfilm. It used to cling but the current variety is useless.

Radio 2 full stop (except for Popmaster of course). Greatest Hits Radio for me these days, especially Drivetime with Simon Mayo.
Still fume at the way he was treated by the Radio 2 bosses.

You and me both @AnniD, and we can't get that station here, so no Mayo for me, other than in my sandwiches  :/
I love R2 apart from a few shows, and those are mainly at the weekend. Michael Ball  springs to mind... :#

Mine clings. Too well I end up with thin strips and waste a lot trying to get a full width piece off every time. It's like cellotape, you start to pull a piece off and it tears diagonally until you've pulled it away. Then you have to find the pointed start of the tape run to wind the sliver off to a full width piece of tape.
  • Radio at work has been playing classic tunes from old bands I quite like. They'd play two of each band consecutively then move to the next band or singer. Buzzwords, undertones, clash,  jam, xtc,  etc. Even the aqua tunes had one that was OK. Until that radio programme came on it was Adele type of rubbish (latest Album because its carp).

Get a Lakeland wrapmaster dispenser ... it's a bit pricey and you can only use their brand of cling film in it, but it'll save you a fortune in wasted clingfilm, time and temper.
