I can totally understand can't people wish to leave a floral tribute but why do they have to be covered in plastic?

Wouldn't it be marvelous not to have a curmudgeon! Did my rant on forkers about taking my disabled son for his blood test last week. Yesterday I popped into my local pharmacy, girl"can I help". me,"am hoping you can,I had my flu jab here a few weeks ago, first time I've ever had it without an appointment, could you kindly look up the date I had it." GIRL, looks completely blank, says "do you want to book a flu jab?" (they don't actually book flu jabs, anyway)ME, repeated previous.GIRL"are you a patient here?"(in a pharmacy!!!)ME "I'm not a patient I'm a customer". GIRL,"um, I don't think I can do that, are you a something, something, something", whatever that was I'd never heard of it. Then the pharmacist called over to her,"just take customers  name and look it up", another assistant came over, lips pressed in a certain look, you know the one,got online, gave me the date.

Am I the only person who doesn't like Adele. I listened to her on the radio, every other word was LIKE, no, I didn't
Fair enough, she wants to look after her mental health, but what about her child. She talked about ending her 5 minutes of marriage, and her son being upset about his dad going. My hubby's mother walked out on her 3 small kids, went off with the lodger, told me she was bored. My husband had mental health problems, for 40 years because of this, which impacted on every aspect of my and the kids lives. She doesn't sing, she screams.

Am I the only person that hasn’t heard any of Adele’s singing? I keep meaning to find one on YouTube out of curiosity but I never get round to it.
My moan today is that ‘someone’ has eaten the flowers off my verbena bonariensis. Very irritating. I suspect it must have been our antlered friend, too high up for the rabbits.

I think Adele has a really good voice ... one of the better singers around today ... she's also writes really good songs ... as for her private life, it's not for me to judge ... I stayed in an unhappy marriage for 24 years ... that didn't do my children any good at all.    :/

Dove,so did I,but I think if you put your private life out in public, you can expect people to comment. I didn't go round telling everyone the sordid details when my children were young.

Thanks @steveTu. I hadn't heard her before. Listened to a bit. Sounded like Dolly Patron to me but then I've never listened to more than a couple of minutes of her either. I can see how her voice would appeal, but not really to me.

Wonderful voice, heart felt lyrics, and a Spurs supporter, what's not to like.
