TV broke 2 days ago. New TV came today! Signed up to Netflix and found out my email address was signed up already! Shoot! Have I been paying for it without realising? Turns out I had signed up but not set up payments so no money taken and no viewing was possible. I'm now on it with full package. No point getting 4k TV and viewing in 480p!!!! Still £13.99 for Netflix but a lot less for amazon prime, which we also have. Is Netflix better than amazon prime? Certainly more expensive by some way.
I don't know what he's been promoted to but he seems ok to me so far
maybe it's just me who sees no discernible talent whatsoever?
He's not my cup of tea either. What are you watching that subjects you to him?
I've heard a trailer on radio that he's presenting a remake of Blanket Blank
Sounds like he's exactly where he should be then! I can happily miss that. Just as long as GW doesn't visit his garden...
@NorthernJoe just different, but Netflix does seem to be getting more prolific so I think it's worth having. Anyone else feel a bit curmudgeonly over how good shows are made for streaming by all sorts of different services now? We never had Sky but I felt like I could ignore that. Now there's all manner of different subscriptions you could sign up to just to watch one show you've heard about.
Re fuel .... we didn't have any trouble topping up with petrol in Cornwall or Somerset and saw no queues in Devon ... however once we were past Bristol things were different and the nearer we got to the Home Counties the more often the overhead gantries were warning of NO FUEL AT NEXT THREE SERVICE STATIONS or HGV FUEL ONLY AT NEXT SERVICE STATION or alternatively NO HGV FUEL AT NEXT TWO SERVICE STATIONS . Heaven knows how the lorry drivers are managing poor things.
